Here is a little page I wrote to test out writing AJAX scripts! It calls a
little Perl CGI script that calculates the heights, widths and areas of the
screens of different
aspect ratios, to compare (for example) the size of a 22" widescreen LCD monitor to
the area of a 17" standard 4:3 CRT monitor. This also works well to compare
new plasma or LCD HDTV screens to old conventional 4:3 tube televisions.
And since it is AJAX it never needs a
click, just tab or mouse between the two number fields to compare!
