My wife has been studying up on diabetes and decided everybody in our family had to calculate our body mass index (BMI). She used some chart in a book, and I thought that was so old fashioned, so I had to develop my own! There are others on the net, so I thought I would make mine a little different by also calculating the basal metabolic rate (BMR) at the same time. The BMR is the guideline on determining how many calories you need to consume in a day to maintain the same weight. Plus mine is an automatic metric converter at the same time as well.   Enjoy!
