This “Christmas Gifts” play was originally written by Tanis Harms and listed on another site, church-skits.com, but our version was adapted by Anna Muhm for use at Samuel United Church of Christ in Clayton, Missouri. It was performed during Sunday morning worship service in December 2015. Our version includes hymn references from both the United Methodist Hymnal and the New Century Hymnal. In our version our bell ringers also played “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee” along to a CD track, but that can be replaced by that same hymn or another one at that point in the performance. All the instructions and scripts are included in the single PDF file linked here. The original church-skits site has a “Director’s Script” version for sale for $15 which includes all the sheet music you would need.
